Journalism as a whole is that which includes going out into the field and experiencing the action first hand and collecting them in a professional manner and reporting them to create the information as news. Since broadcasting can cover almost any activity, reporting is a very wide field. One of the kinds of broadcasting includes broadcast journalism. This includes everyone from the camera crew to the anchors both in the spot light and behind the scenes.

Investigative journalism brings into the lime light things that have been kept in the dark especially in politics thus widening up the issues and ideas that the viewers may not be aware of. Politicians or other people in power are exposed in the event that they act unjustly towards defenseless people. This kind of journalism facilitates the capture and punishing of the people who are unfair to others and also unearth the unknown things.

They go around the country, or the world was taking beautiful pictures of various places and even tourism attractions and continue by sharing these pictures with the rest of the world.

Mass communication is a big part of reporting. As the name suggests, a journalist should be able to communicate information the public. For this, you have to be able to express yourself a s needed otherwise you may miss your chance at being a journalist. Many people are glued to texting and writing in short hand form.

Twitter and Facebook have to be on toes to deliver the latest news as people are always on these platforms. For those who blog as a hobby, they can turn it into a career.

Public relation is a career close to broadcasting. In both, you need good communication skills. You may be offered internships having a bachelors degree in broadcasting or in PR itself. The internship is a good way for you to gain the much-needed experience. With a degree in PR, you may work in broadcasting or any renown company.
